Nintendo president Satoru Iwata is having his salary reduced by HALF, YEAH that’s right by half and he’s not the only one with other high ranking company execs taking pay cuts from 20-30 percent; starting in February and to continue until June when the company reevaluates the situation.
"A salary decision will be made then depending on how things go" Iwata says.
This news comes on the heels of Nintendo’s financial statement which was recently released putting the company at over a $15 million operating loss for 2013.
What does the future hold for Nintendo?, With so many rumors of a new console going around it wouldn’t be the worst course of action for the company. What’s clear is they have to do something to turn this around and quick.
